Medicaid, an unreliable safety net

There's no standard answer how to plan for assisted living or nursing care. When we see stories where Medicaid fails seniors, we recognize Medicaid is not a desired approach but sometimes is our only solution if we need long term assisted living or nursing care.

It's a safety net we don't want to rely on.
