In my opinion, it's never safe to assume your phone is safe. The less you do with it, the safer you are.
This spyware can record conversations that happen near the phone, read messages on encrypted apps, listen to phone conversations, track a user’s location and breach the user's iCloud data.
The spyware arrives via a calendar invite which the user never sees because the invite was for a date in the past.
